MMA Hosts Goodwill Collection

CASTINE, Maine - Maine Maritime Academy will host an on-campus collection of used items in conjunction with Goodwill Industries of Northern New England, on Wednesday, April 28. The collection will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the parking lot of the Bath Iron Works Center for Advanced Technology.

The public is welcome and encouraged to donate to the drive.
According to organizers, Goodwill Industries representatives will be in attendance with a large truck to collect donations of used household goods and furniture, clothing, books, and small appliances. All items contributed must be in working order and in a gently-used condition so as to support potential re-use. Donation receipts for tax purposes will be available throughout the collection.
